Europe has grown increasingly polarised in recent years. At a time of great global uncertainty, European societies have been fractured by movements hostile to democratic norms. How can we understand this rise of polarisation across Europe? What can European countries learn from the studies, policies and programmes implemented so far to counter violent extremism? And what tools can we develop to build more resilient communities?
The BRaVE Project is made up of a consortium of experts from universities and civil society organisations from across Europe, exploring how and why violent extremism develops and what we can do to best respond to it.
